Growing up in North-Central Wisconsin I fell in love with the rolling landscapes and dramatic change of seasons. In 8th grade I received a small point and shoot camera from my parents as a Christmas gift and was quickly drawn to the art of storytelling through still imagery - immersing myself in nature to compose a thoughtful and compelling image. Landscape photography helps me to slow down and appreciate the intricate details of a landscape -  how it feels to be in that place.

15 years later I still have an insatiable desire to see what's around the next bend on the trail and create compelling still photographs. I'm inspired by natural landscapes - in particular the beauty in the Northwoods of the Upper Midwest - and strive constantly to find new ways to share how it feels to experience the incredible places this artistic medium takes me!
